A Ketterer electric spindle drive is a 24 V DC motor drive with a permanently attached spindle. Via the spindle, linear motion is generated from the rotating motion of the DC motor.
These components form the basis for the development of versatile, powerful, and precisely positioning drive systems. Depending on the design of the gear unit, the spindle axis runs parallel or transverse to the motor axis. With synchronous telescopic spindle systems, twice the lifting speed and nearly twice the lifting height can be achieved with the same installation length. Integrated hall sensors allow for precise positioning.
